Mariela PFENNIG-MAHMUD
Architect
Mariela is a licensed Architect in Argentina and California. She received her architectural degree from University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. After completing her studies, she partnered with Estudio Maraude, working on a variety of residential and commercial projects. She moved to California in 2004 where she joined Square Three Design Studios and later Bellomo Architects as a project designer. Mariela collaborated with 360 design studio since its beginnings and joined the firm in 2008. "The core of our work are the people we design for.” Mariela believes that great spaces enable people to thrive. "The places we inhabit can have a positive effect on our development, health and interactions, allowing a calm sense of awareness. In everything we do, we believe in making great spaces for all.” Mariela embraces continuous learning and collaborative team work. Her interests in urban and social subjects inspire her to participate in international competitions and maintain a constant open dialogue with an extended community of colleagues. She believes that everyone’s skills used for the common good can make a positive impact in the world. Born in Argentina and raised in Germany, she brings a rich and diverse background, a strong technical expertise and a lifelong passion for genuine architecture.
